The Wexford House, one of Worcester's favorite local restaurants, has been serving this Massachusetts community. With excellent home-cooked meals at reasonable prices, the Wexford brings you food and atmosphere that is as good as home. The restaurant is owned by Richard Cravedi and managed by his wife Ann. Their fabulous chef never disappoints by serving a constant array of sumptuous selections and ever-changing, fresh daily specials. The Wexford House is located at the corner of Shrewsbury and Belmont Streets. The restaurant offers a sports bar, Keno machine, and over-flowing bowls of free popcorn. Truly one of Worcester's better kept secrets. Great food, good prices, friendly and efficient staff. The Wexford House!

Probably one of best “priced†and “tasting†prime rib in the area. We frequented here a few times with our family. The service is always good; not sure about those other reviews. It’s a very “local†place and caters to many repeat customers. Great midweek restaraunt.

We have been going to the Wexford for many years. We've never had a bad meal. The food is fresh, and always delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the generous portions. The waitresses provide exceptional service, and are always friendly and professional. Our meals are always brought to us promptly. It is THE place for great meals and service.

Service was very good for a busy night. Food, however, was marginal. Beer good and cold but almost flat. Sausage served with the pasta was terrible but the sauce was good. Lamb kabobs small and grisly. Good fatoush salad.

Have never been here before and boy was I surprised. Kind of reminded me of the Webster House except the food is just a tad better. Try the El Morocco salad it is almost identical to the original. We have been back 3 times already. Reasonably priced and the service is very good!

Here is a restaurant that rocks consistently! The Wexford House has a wonderful and varied menu. Salads, wraps, burgers and soups will please the palate, but I always go for their flavorful entrees which include juicy steaks, fresh seafood, and delightful Middle Eastern dishes. The Haddock Tarrator is baked and topped with caramelized onions, walnuts, and tahini sauce. Lamb Chops also are savory. Generous portions will satisfy. I should someday just go for coffee and dessert...I just don't have room after an entree from the Wex! Excellent wait staff make the Wexford House a wonderful dining experience!

11 of us went and everything was great. Clam chowder was unbelievable. Best we ever had.place was packed but we had reservations. Service was great And I saw a lot of people I knew. And many of them asked how I was doing since my wife passed. She was really well liked by many. So if you get a chance stop by and tell duck or Ann Stan sent you. Night all.

Great food, funny waitress, bowls of popcorn, do I need to say more? They cook your steak to your liking and to Perfection. The baba ganoush is something to crave and the Italian wedding soup is authentic. And if you're looking for seafood it's always fresh. I've had nothing but great experiences here and it's a good place to bring the family for dinner.

I've been there twice recently and both times were excellent,the first time I had a haddock dish and the second time I had the El salad and grape leaves, something for everyone the menu has a lot of choices.

Our waitress was very sweet but that’s the only good thing about my experience in this restaurant. We ordered mozzarella sticks and they were LITERALLY frozen in the middle. Then for my meal I ordered the pasta with sausage and the noodles felt like if they were given an ice bath. It was just rough overall I hope they can improve on this. Our bill was also $60 which for cold food is a no no.

Lunch +4. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Expensive.Everyone was satisfied with their choice of fare. I selected a tuna melt which was great. Kibbee was also a selection. All was food but our bill for four adults and one toddler was $168. Yes, and that was for lunch. Yikes. I will return but it won't be a regular stop.

A nice old fashioned luncheonette type spot. Good, basic fare at very reasonable prices. Popular with the U Mass Med. Center crowd and seniors and lots of 'regulars'. Better than any fast food joint or diner. Very good, experienced staff.
